Etisalat marks MECOM with special offers

Etisalat - Essa Al Haddad CMOOccupying the largest exhibitor stand at wing 3D10, Etisalat is offering UAE subscribers the opportunity to experience its latest applications for free or at reduced prices, during a special MECOM promotional period.

Etisalat CMO Essa Al Haddad said Etisalat customers can take advantage of special MECOM offers from today until May 31.

 

Chief marketing officer, Essa Al Haddad, said mobile subscribers can take advantage of the offers available from today until May 31, including international video calls, mobile TV and a pushmail service, whether the customers are attending the exhibition or not.

The operator will also showcase its various units and departments under the theme ‘Discover Etisalat’, providing visitors the chance to interact and give feedback on Etisalat’s diverse value-added applications for mobile, fixed-line, satellite and cable services, as well as smart card technologies, customer care operations and employee training. The range of telecoms and managed ICT services will also be on show encompassing Etisalat’s solutions for business connectivity, mobility and eBusiness.

The UAE operator is currently the leader among Arab communication companies in terms of financial capital and the fourteenth- largest global operator. Al Haddad said spending on telecommunications and information technology in the Middle East and Africa is expected to
pass US$40 billion this year and that Gulf countries will account for 23 per cent of this figure. “We are now aiming to be among the top ten international companies, and to this end, we are investing in 16 countries in Asia and Africa. This will see our subscriber base go up to 63 million,” Al Haddad added.
